The videos of two chart toppers were released last week!

Britney's high tempo video sees her in a variety of scenes including floating off the ground in a gigantic white dress. Musically, “Hold It Against Me” features industrial beats, a dubstep-influenced breakdown and a final chorus with elements of rave. The lyrics portray the singer seducing someone on the dancefloor, while the chorus revolves around pick-up lines. Most reviewers praised the song, although some criticized its lyrical content.

Last week also saw the release of Kanye West's new video ‘All of the Lights’ off his brilliant 2010 release ‘My Beautiful Twisted Dark Fantasy’. Pinching Cee-Lo’s typographic ‘word art’ concept from his ‘Fuck You’ video, Yeezy kicks that can 20 blocks down the road, pumping up the wow factor in typical over the top fashion. Moreover, he’s got Rihanna and her exposed ‘side boobs’ looking hotter than she’s ever looked, providing the average teenaged male with enough masturbatory material to last him through four years of high school. Well done.
